From a practitioner's eyes, not a theorist

Daria joined the Corporate Innovation Embassy in 2021. Previously, for 8 years, she arranged the document circulation in a transport company near Poznań. She knows exactly why drivers don't want to click on tablets and why accounting often fears new systems. Her work is process diplomacy in its pure form. She doesn't come with a ready plan. She sits with employees and watches how they actually use the mouse and keyboard.

In one of her recent projects for a construction warehouse, she shortened the invoice approval time from 4 days to 1.5 days. She did it without buying expensive software for tens of thousands of zlotys. Changing the way files were described and introducing one clear form was enough. Daria believes in technology the human way – the kind that makes life easier, not one that forces the learning of difficult commands.

Her overriding principle is not breaking what works. If the office has worked on a specific layout of binders for 11 years, Daria will find a way for its digital equivalent to look familiar. She can't stand corporate jargon. She says directly: this tool will save you 3.2 hours a week, and that one just looks pretty but won't help us with anything.

  • Mapping the real path of a document from desk to archive.
  • Implementing free tools that facilitate collaborative file work.
  • Eliminating duplication of the same data in three different spreadsheets.
  • Teaching computer skills for people who feel resistance to change.

She can be direct, but that's because she respects the company owners' time. If she sees that a given idea is a waste of money, she will say so at the first meeting. (Sometimes this makes our projects cheaper than the client assumed). Privately, Daria keeps order not only in files but also in her garden near Swarzędz.
